These cinnamon buns are so delicious they melt in your mouth.Trust me! These cinnamon buns don't last long and are usually a big success! Watch the glaze slip into the gaps and between the cinnamon rolls, becoming ooey and gooey.

Dough

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Set aside.
  • To prepare, heat water, milk, and butter in a small dish in the microwave for 30-45 seconds until melted.
  • To form a ball, whisk the liquid and dry ingredients together with a fork. Knead in the egg by hand or with a stand mixer for 5-6 minutes, until the dough is no longer sticky. Shape the dough into a ball and return it to the bowl. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat a 9×9 pan with cooking spray and put aside.

Filling

  • In a separate dish, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • After resting the dough, roll it out into a 15×9 inch rectangle on a floured board.
  • To cut, spread melted butter over the dough and evenly sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll the dough firmly and cut into nine even pieces.
  • Place the rolls in a prepared pan and cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
  • To drizzle, turn off the preheated oven and lay the pan of rolls inside. Allow them to rise for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil or plastic and equally distribute the ¼ cup of cream on top of the buns.
  • Return the buns to the oven and heat to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the buns' tops are golden brown.
